About
Lisa Renbarger

Licensed Esthetician Since 2009
Growing up with deep roots in the area- My mother was raised in the outskirts of Murphy, NC and my father was from Blairsville, GA. I have always called this area home. My husband of 22 years and I have loved raising our two children here.
Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to more creative, hands-on activities. When I was younger, I ran a small business focused on cake decorating for special occasions. Each complete project gave me a sense of accomplishment and I enjoyed participating in many celebrations.

As far back as high school, I remember wanting to attend cosmetology school. Unfortunately, I let other people's opinions and the fear of failure keep me from pursuing my passion. After becoming a mother, I began to realize that I should choose a long-term career that made me happy, even if it was a little later in life.

In 2009, I graduated from North Georgia Technical College and became a licensed esthetician. Throughout my years 14 years of working in a high-volume environment ( Over 12,000 facials!), I was passionate about furthering my education. First, I completed multiple series of certification classes at the International Dermalogica Institute in Atlanta, GA. In addition, I received training in Dermaplane Pro, from some of the leading experts in the field. I am currently attending Hale & Hush Sensitive Skin Specialist courses to specialize in sensitive skin. Soon, I will have even more knowledge to provide treatment plans for those suffering from acne, eczema, dermatitis, product sensitivity, and even skin issues that arise during menopause. As a long-time sensitive skin sufferer, I empathize with others in similar situations and I look forward to providing more treatment options for them along with all of my current areas of expertise. I am excited to help each client achieve their personalized skin care goals here at Morgan James Skin Therapy! See you soon,
Lisa R.
